Career Action Plan

As i am now edging closer to my second year of college, now is the time to be thinking and deciding what i want to do in the future. 

This last year of college is crucial. At the end of college i know i want to go to university. The university i have decided i want to go to is Salford to do a TV and Radio course, hopefully i will be accepted. To achieve the qualifications i need to be accepted i will have to push myself in this last year, to work hard, reach deadlines on time, and research into the job i want to do. 

I will also try to gain experience in different aspects i media. Living next to Media City is a big advantage to m because in my free time i will try and look for work experience, to get involved and have i mind what it is like working i the media industry. 

Gnome Moan

This was also another piece of work we did at the very start of the year, it was made using Adobe After Effects. A group of us got took into a room with a green screen someone had to volunteer to be the voice of the gnome (me). After we filmed a short clip we went back and got our first experience of using after effects by putting my mouth as the gnomes mouth.

Work With The Reporters Academy

Half way through the first year of college i got the chance to be apart of The Reporters Academy, this was great to get some hands on experience. I had to go down to The Pie Factory at Media City to film clips six year old girl named Holly. She was doing a 1 mile run with Olympic cycling champion Chris Boardman. The 1 mile was part of her 26 mile challenge, fund raising for children with cancer in the UK. We went round with cameras and tripods to film her running. After, we also interviewed Holly and Chris to add into a video. I really enjoyed getting involved.

Graphics

This is was made using Adobe illustrator for my media class in college. This piece of work is called a Vector Image, w ha to draw around all  photo's features and add a different layer to add detail. We did this for one of our first pieces of work to get used to the different programmes and tools within them.

  

This was also a early piece of work that we did at the start of my first college year, just getting used to the different progammes and tools. This was made using Adobe Photoshop, we got given this piece of work but all the pictures were broke up like a jigsaw ad we ad to put them together. I think i have improved massively with each programme.

E4 Esting

I made this for my media class in college. The cartoon fish were made in Adobe Photoshop, putting it all together and making i move was done using Adobe After Effects.
